I don't just hurdle

This is footage from one of my favorite races my senior year in high-school, the indoor season of course. It’s kind of ironic how I consider it be one of my favorites when in all actuality I’ve only ran this event twice. When I did run this event I enjoyed every moment of it.
This was the 300 meter dash. This race was perfect for me because I did not like to run the 400 meter dash and I was a good 200 meter dash runner. The way that the race was set up on the track was different than any other race, it started towards the top of the track and then we had to run a complete two laps to the finish.

This race in particular is quite interesting because in the middle of the race a kid right in front of me had fell, so I had to do a little jump over him. I was a man on a mission to win my race and I wouldn’t let anything stop me. Even though I had started in dead last, I managed to win the race because I more endurance than my competitors. It sure was a great feeling when I had crossed the finish line.
